Kevan and Kathy are still Here

Kevan and Kathy are still here! I found this old photo of us at my 20 year high school reunion - I think this is a great age to keep in our minds about how we will look again someday!!!! After seeing this I'm not sure I want to post any recent ones!

Our Green River Snowmobile Trip

As part of a Service Auction in Relief Society, I recieved a snowmobile ride and lunch. Here is how it worked. Each of the women in R.S. donated a service they could preform or an item they had made. Examples: coupon good for hair cuts for your whole family. Jars of home made jam, someone put in a coupon saying they would paint the walls in one room in your home. The one I wanted was a coupone for a snowmobile trip and lunch. This is how the auction worked. Each of us was given a small package of M&M's . On the chalk board was listed the amount each color of M&M was worth. Green was 50 pts. Blue was 40 pts. Red was 30 pts. You get the idea. So we opened our M&M's and counted up our points and the auction began. The sister who donated the snowmobile ride and lunch was Beverly Walker and I won that coupon. So this past weekend we were the guest of the Walkers on a great day on snowmobiles! Kyle, Bev's husband wanted Kevan to come and they also invited the Cummings ( you kids will remeber them from Star Valley) to join us. When, Kendall Horracks, one of the teachers Kevan hired found out what we were doing he invited himself! He is a great single guy among the kids Kevan has taken under his wing. So off we went, the 7 of us. We left around 10:30 in the morning and we road until about 4:00 in the afternoon. They whole day was great fun and the dinner was barbaque spare ribs, cole slaw, home made rolls, and chocolate cake! What a great way to end the day.

As you can see Dad is enjoying his Polaris 800. He had so much fun. He was like a little kid!

This was taken just after the men lifted Bev's snowmobile out of the snow. She tipped over just above the tree trunk. Kyle and Bev Walker are the friends who hosted our little day trip. They provided the snowmobiles and decked us out for the day.
