Our new Residence in Pinedale

Here is our new residence in Pinedale. A little home right in town. We hope to save $ by not driving to work, church, store, etc.

Moose in the Backyard

Mama and baby moose in the backyard. The baby is still lying down just above the close line. The lights in the background are the lights of the church parking lot.

Mama and baby Moose on the move. They are walking between the house and the Expedition and finally crossing the street.

Happy Birthday Kody

Happy Birthday to Kody! Did you all remember to call and wish him a Happy b-day? Here he is at 3 1/2 months and almost 35 yrs!

Kennington Reunion on Freemont Lake in Pinedale Wyoming is this month!

O.K. Kids - We have been in the CABIN (HaHa - it is a beautiful home) and it is perfect. This is where you will ALL be staying. We do not need the condos and we will be saving all that money to use for other things at the reuion. We will make those decisions when you get here. You will have to go to the older posts to see all I have posted on the house.

This is a view from the front side of the house. As you can see the yard will be great for the kids and we can sit on the deck and watch them play! I wanted you to see that the lake is close but not so close that we have to worry. We were in the car on a road that runs between the lake and the house for the picture of the house on the hill. This is going to be alot more fun for the kids and us!

This is 2 views of the bedroom downstairs. The oldest daughter is coming out of the TV room and is headed upstairs. The youngest daughter is on the bean bag chair facing me. I am standing at the bottom of the stairs. It is a big room with only the bunkbeds in it.

This is 2 different views of the large family TV room down stairs. The original owner built the bar. Kirt wants to upgrade it to a soda fountain bar for the girls to entertain with! I know we can fit 2 queen blow up mattresses in this room easily. The bathroom is off of this room. It is really nice!

This is the den. You can see the corner of a couch. There is plenty of room for a blow up mattress and this can serve as another bedroom. There isn't alot of funiture and that makes it nice and roomy.

Kevan and Kirt visiting as I am taking pictures. The top one is the livingroom. The view out the sliding glass door is of the deck and the front yard as it looks out to the lake. It is beautiful. Kirt said the sunsets are unbelievable! The bottom one is of course the dining room. The sliding glass door in this room leads to another small deck with a table. Kind of like a breakfast nook.

A quick picture of the bathroom on the main floor. Not the one in the Master bedroom. Since the family was using that bedroom, I didn't want to intrude with my camera.

This is the family area that is connected to the kitchen. Nice and roomy. The view through the window is actually the front of the house that faces the lake. The yard is in the front of the house not in the back. As you drive up to the house you approach from the back, so you really don't see the front of the house until you park and walk around the driveway.

This is 2 views of the Master bedroom. Behind the folding door is a bathroom. Kirt (the owner) was up this weekend with his 2 girls, so we were able to get these pictures. As you can see, this is the room they were living in for the weekend
!

Two of the 3 bedrooms on the main floor.

Friday morning after graduation it was Memorial (Decoration Day) weekend so Kevan and I along with Roxanne and Wade visited the cemetary in Fairview where my Dad and Kevan's Dad are buried.

Yes, we had two nephews graduate with the 2008 class. It was Roxanne's son Wade and Garry & Joyce's son Laken. It was a memorable evening. The class also presented Kevan with a bronz statue titled "End of the Trail". It is very famous in Wyoming. It is an Indian slumped over on the back of a horse. Kevan left it in Nibley on the mantel. After our Star valley visit we went home to check on the house.

Kevan was the keynote speaker at the 2008 Star Valley High Graduation. He did a super job! The crowd was laughing and he kept it short! We stayed long enough at the all night party to get something to eat and then it was home to Venna's and Doug's for the night.

I asked our neighbor and landlord, Sharron to take a picture of Kevan and I last Sunday. They turned out so bad, I finally read the directions on how to use the timer on our camera ( after 7 or 8 years or so) and they turned out better than the ones Sharron took!

Where Grandma is working!

I thought you might like to see where Grandma is working! This is the middle school cafeteria. You can see my computer desk in the left hand corner. The 2nd picture is a view of the serving line. The 3rd is the view from the lunch room. The windows are wonderful. We just hope it won't be to hot this spring. The 4th picture is of the cook's waving at me. They are really fun!

This is the entrance to the Ski Resort. Of course
there is still quite a bit of snow, but
you can see the condo's are in the trees.

This is the entryway. Large enough for one of our blowup mattress if needed.

Two views of the loft.

There are only beds in the loft.

This view is from the kitchen/family room.
